Bible Verse:
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.」
Origin and Application:
In his famous sermon on Mount Beatitudes, Jesus said to the crowds on mountain top, "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.」
Another word for pig is swine. If you cast pearls before swine, you offer something valuable to people who don't appreciate it.

Bible Verse:
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.」
Origin and Application:
"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.」(馬太福音7:6)
Cast pearls before swine
